I rented jlg 460 sj yesterday to do some work on a building but was having problems with the basket rotating it would work at first but would get slower then not work at all. let it sit for awhile and then it would start working. Just wondering why it was doing that if anyone had same problems with it and why it id does that .

Sounds like there is a problem with the valve or coil on that unit. Have had them to do the same before and found the same problem when the hyd fluid heats up.

How does the jib and platform level functions operate after it heats up? If they seem to operate fine then the personalities for the platform rotate function needs to be adjusted. That will have to be done by a tech with the JLG calibrator. All the functions are individually adjustable to compensate for wear and can only be accessed with the calibrator.
