Welcome to HEF! I would check the vent on top of the trans and make sure it's not buried in dirt. I guess water could accumulate in the trans over time if it doesn't vent properly.

Condensation, and water will separate the glue on the clutch disk. Flush, flush,flush or you are going to be rebuilding the transmission
