I have had the F497 code appear several times now over the past year. It seems to come on after I have operated the machine (could be 10 minutes to 2 hours). It is easy enough to clear by shutting the engine off and restarting. I know it is "Pump Current Decay Time Invalid" and related to fuel injection solenoid. I tested all the wires between the solenoid and ECU and all is good from that standpoint. I am wondering if the code comes on when the engine warms up from operation. Could it be that the solenoid gets hot and creates the resistance that sets off the code?
