JCB 214-4 backhoe lift cylinder, can't get nut off that holds the piston onto the shaft. Tried 1000 ft. pounds. Is nut left hand thread or could it be pinned? Please, any help.

I had to take one of them on my old Case to a large truck shop. They took one of their large impact guns and after a few hits it came right off. Charged me $20.
