How to read Caterpillar 3412E fault codes?

Looking to buy fault code scanner for Caterpillar 3412E engine. Does anyone know what type of scanner I need? I know there is
CAT ET3 scanner but I cant find info what models it is capable to read. Engine is in a Pettersson wood grinder.

Cat ET will read Diagnostic Codes on pretty much every Cat electronic engine with the correct cables to connect the Comms Adapter to the Diagnostic connector on the engine. Certainly it will read codes on your engine, it pretty much was built for that job 20 years ago when the first version of ET was introduced.
(Other options for code readers may be avaialble)
