About twenty something years ago, while working for a warehouse company in upstate New York. They had a small hough model 50 loader...now this wasn't just any old hough loader.

What made it so weird was two things.

1. A sliding canopy like a old WW2 fighter plane.

2. A gasoline engine.

I can't find any pictures of this loader. Tried Google,E-bay and a few others and came up dry again.

Besides being underpowered and a death trap,it did alright pushing snow. The fumes from it ,should one have to close the canopy. Simple would cause you to nearly black out.

Dunno why this machine is stuck in my head. Maybe because it was my job to remove snow in the winter months .Those who have lived in upstate NY,know just how much it snows.

A friend used to have one. Pretty sure his was diesel. It had a "Drott" 4 in 1 bucket. Rear wheel steer too.

The sliding canopy was cool as heck! Required a little extra maintaince to keep it working correctly.
