Oh man was she happy!! Poor girl was worried terrible that I'd not be able to get another collet without spending a lot of money and blamed herself. Mom ratted her out about trying to concoct ways to reimburse for the damage, (she sews very well) although I'd went over the scenario many times clearly stating the damage was my fault through lack of training which apparently wasn't readily accepted.
Anyway, all said and done, "it's all good", and I even got a hug and kiss on the cheek when leaving.
