Hitachi ex 5600 1/14 scale request for information

Hi everyone.

I have started a new project. I intend to build a 1/14 scale, fully hydraulic, remote controlled Hitachi 5600 (backhoe)

I may have exhausted the internet for PDF's. I was wondering if anyone has or knows a source of reference material from which I can get designs, dimensions and ideas from.

I haven't found a diecast model version but if any one knows of one that would be ideal.

Have you tried contacting Hitachi in Japan or their local agents to get the info required? Of course you would have to explain what it's for but I can't see any problems.
