Specifically 950H/F/K, 962G/H/K, and 966H/K machines. Check out the photo. This is what we found in the transmission screen on a 2011 962H with 4760 hours. I immediately pegged it as the shields from a bearing. What we found was that 2011 & older transmissions have 2 x 6V-1649 Ball Bearings in the planetary assembly. A Service Mag was published in 11/2012 announcing a change in Part Number from 6V-1649 to 379-2185 for this application. The difference between the 2 numbers is that the 6V bearing has plastic shields, the 379 does not. The advice was do not remove the transmission for this reason, the 6V bearing will function fine without the shields in this case.

NOTE: The 6V-1649 Bearing is NOT CANCELLED because it is used in other applications where the plastic shields are required. So if you're working from a paper Parts Manual and need to replace these bearings in this specific application make sure you use the new part number.
