1st pic shows Hayes HDX unknown contractor. It might be a Dave Mill truck. Next 4 pics are of Hayes HDX, HFP unit #T615. All pics were taken at Sarita summer 2005.

Great picture of the unloading.

Can you show how the uprights get released to unload like that? I have always wondered about it. I am sure there must be something simple.

Here are some close up pics of system. When relaesing "cable lock" at bunk the oppesite stack will tip. So yes very simple. Hope this will give you an idea of how it works:)

Pic 1 shows a HDX model at Tom Turners place Campbell River summer 2000. Can any ad some information on this truck. I know that it had a dump on for some time. Pic 2 was shot in summer 2000 at MB Cameron Div. A Hayes HDX 1965 model; HFP truck #T721. It was parked at Contractors parking lot - sadly a few years later - HFP trucks were parked all over the old MB Cameron Div. area. Last pics show 2 HD's logging trucks in Quesnel summer 1980. First pictures of Hayes trucks I've shot:)

Some pics of Millstreams Hayes logging trucks - unit #31 and #33. Behind #31 unit #30 was parked, but I was out of rolls. All were HD models. Pics were shot in summer 1986 east of Ucluelet. Unit #33 was the last HD built. #33 is still around but she has seen better days.

HD make over

Here is a 1971 HD Hayes I helped rebuild for Stewart Transport in Cochrane AB. He also has a 1969 Clipper that looks pretty nice! The HD was here was built to go logging. Was a fun project!

Thanks HDX that means a lot coming from a pro builder such as your self.:) She is living in Coldstream BC with two other Hayes's, a 74 HD and the 69 Clipper along with two 78 Kenworths, all dressed to the 9's. This is an old Hayes HDX truck from 1962. It's a HDX 35-88, sn#2062335. Funny how water tank has been cut. I am pretty sure it's an old BCFP truck and it might be a preloader as well before it was converted to water truck. "HDX" might know. Pics were taken at Munns Lumber shop summer 2005. Except last pic which shows same truck in summer 2010. Tank has been removed. Hopefully someone will save this truck.
