Hi, I have a genie scissor lift that is currrently 24 volt. I was wondering if anyone had ever converted on to 48 volt by replacing the four 6 volt batteries with 4 12 volt. Or does have any idea if this would work?
Thanks
Keith

The short answer, no, won't work, for a number of reasons, the ECU, motor controller, solenoid coils, and the circuit card in the platform control box all work on 24V, 48V would make all of them go up in a puff of smoke.
