2012 Genie S- 60X 4x4

I have replaced the basket control joystick and have recalibrated it numerous times. The boom will go up but not down. The boom will extent, but not retract. All functions work from the ground. I reversed the wires on the solenoid. Then the boom would retract. I did not do this test on the boom up and down. The manifold block is getting extremely hot. I have checked all the solenoids, spools and valves for trash, blown o rings and free movement. Any ideas on where to go from here?
