Ford 4500 Power Reverse, swap to clutch trans

If I wanted to swap my shuttle shift to a clutch trans off a row crop tractor, would it be that difficult?
I do not need PTO, or 3pt hitch or rear hydraulics, jut think it would be cheaper than rebuilding the automatic and less maintenance overall
