Does anyone have any experiences with Elite gooseneck flatbed trailers?

I have been comparing them to Big Tex trailers and they are basically built the same with the exception of the frame size and crossmember spacing.

Elite: 14# 12" I-beam, crossmembers spaced on 16" centers

Big Tex: 16# 12" I-beam, crossmembers spaced on 18" centers

Another issue is price
Elite: $4,500
Big Tex: $7,900

I have been comparing the 14,000 GVW trailers from both manufacturers. The trailer will be used to haul 8,000-10,000 lbs of skid steer or landscaping materials on a (hopefully) regular basis.

Thanks
