Ditch Witch blade won't take grease

Hey guys
Ditch Witch RT40, but I believe the blade assembly is fairly similar on all the compact ride on's. The pivot bushing won't take grease. I can reach up inside the zerk hole with a piece of wire about 3 inches and there is some older grease up in there, but its not hard.

Has anyone had one of these apart? How does the bushing get grease? Is there a groove or a hole in it? Could the bushing have turned and is now blocked?
In the attached parts diagram, the zerk is part 7 and the bushing is part 9.

run a drill bit in it and drill into it about an 1/8 of an inch , that should go through the bushing and then try and grease it,
