Do you understand the basic parts of a crane? The gantry is where the boom hoist basically connects the counterweight and the machine to the boom. like this http://www.tpub.com/eqopbas/12535_files/image876.jpg. On a mast there are several variations. Link Belt has a live mast on there crawlers. In heavy lift attachments several manufacturers have a dead type mast that does not move. like this http://t2.gstatic.com/images?q=tbn:ANd9GcQabIZjX3SY4dOyyTfV-mUVN3HK0tuMSOrUmplHWfXAtciwvTzJ The boom in the back is the mast. The jib is just like the boom it has the load suspended from it. There is fixed jibs and luffing jibs like this https://encrypted-tbn3.gstatic.com/...Dhy9_dloMGOJtL7nJUIi0QqhuikHXZnlfvi5Nlh3TWr-X I don't know if these links work? just trying to help. I have been wrong once but that has been recently:D
