We had need to cut a concrete floor slab. Rented a gas powered 'chain-saw' motor driver.
The blade that was ON the saw has arrows engraved on both sides that show a direction the blade is supposed to turn.
The blade LOOKS the same both directions.
We have our own saw blade that we acquired with some auction stuff somewhere.
It doesn't have any arrows or direction indicators.
Does it really matter which way we put the blade on?
Are the diamond grits embedded a particular direction so it might wear faster if we put it on backwards?
(or cut better?)
or is the direction arrow mainly an attempt to keep using the blade the same direction each time it gets put on?
