I have a serial number VF600JAG on this motor. I'm looking for information or a good serial number refrence guide please. Specificly model and engine family. My google search isn't as good as the guys on HE. Thanks .

V=engine configuration should have a 6,8,12,16 in front of the v.(number of cylinders)
F=engine series this is a 92 series
Model number will look like this:8036-8800 or some series of numbers begining with 80
having problems?
