Hello all! Formerly registered as Diagonal Brace but couldn't remember login info so had to re register.

Have fuel problem on 6068T where secondary filter is plugging up with black sediment that seems to be bypassing primary.

Any suggestions?

Thanks in advance

Sounds like you have something in the tank and most likely the screen in the tank has been removed. I went through this recently where somebody had left the fuel cap off and a bird got inside an died. We had to cut the side out of the tank and clean it out.

Update. Machine has a plastic tank with a manhole inspection cover. Upon removal we discovered drain plug was not in the lowest part of the tank but the pickup tube was. Shortened tube and cleaned out tank as best we could and so far so good. Machine also had a fuel strainer ahead of primary filter which was hidden by a sheath and it was quite laden with contaminants. Hopefully this experience can help someone else.

Thanks
