D8k undercarriage

Hi guys!
I saw one D8K machine in China, which had its serial number engraved on a plate welded on the right side above the sprokets. The serial no was 66V. Isn't it supposed to be near the left ripper mount and beneath the stearing in the cabin, or is it different for the 77V series?

77V should be on the firewall (control tower) below steering levers on your right sitting in the seat.
