i have a d7 3t, was needing a lil info, i have some books but none rilly say what is what, i just need a lil help, what kinda oil does the tranny and final drives run, 80w90?, also, it has the oil clutch in it, what oil does that dude run in it? 15-40 be ok for the engine? any one have a filter number and fuel filter number from say napa...or wix then last question is, i need to adjust the hand clutch, whats the best meathod for the hand clutch on a oil type clutch, and im gessing the book i have tell about the dry clutch but only tells to adjust to book specks for oil clutch... what is the specks,,, its works just cant get it to snap over in place, rilly dont want to start messing with it til i get a lil more info on how... thanks in advance

It is shame that people don't know what is a good dozer, these machines will be around for another 50 years.

Tranny Hydraulic oil is fine, been running this in mine since '86. Final drives 80/90W if it doesn't run right out on the ground from having bad bellow seals. If it leaks, 140W won't hurt it. Engine 15-40 is fine.

Have to look up filter numbers for you, I get them from Napa.

I'm confused by your post as to whether you have Dry or Wet Clutch. The instructions for adjusting a wet clutch are only found in the operators manual, there is no mention of adjustment in the tractor service manual. Have any other question please let me know.
