LOL, that local has already figured out a LTL truck is Not Rated to handle grain hauls 48 miles one way in a timely or fuel efficient manner! Gutless, top speed of 56mph light grades 35mph, constant shift constant battle. He noted only getting 4.5-5.2mpg on a good day, cab is a sun room when sun is out and a freezer where has to scrape ws on the inside when parked, cruise not equipped or broken so cannot idle up for heat. Cannot figure out nor want to pay for idle time auto shut down removal. But he does brag of cheapest truck ever picked up!! Dumazz!

BTW, has already had three Aftertreatment hard fails where has spent his saved money for repairs. No warranty expressed or implied on these junkers.

This one is fresh off the assembly line. Fun picture I took today at a client.

It looks wrong with the front bumper flaps in a "V". I want to like it, but its just not happening for me.

The grill guard however, is right, its not obtrusively obnoxiously ugly, like so many of them are.

And the best, is that big fat tow hook, right up front and easy to access for those unforeseen escapades.

Well I just bought this 1988 800--L10 300 hp 9 speed single axle with Reyco spring that
can be converted to Reyco 102 Air Ride using the front hangers. Perfect cab inside & out,
perfect hood, no rust aluminum wheels, A/C. with 150,103 miles on it for under $3,000.
Already have a buyer--make a service truck out of it.

I don’t like those crazy expensive heated headlamps, either.

But, they can’t keep new Cummins on the road. It’s absolutely ridiculous. I mean, if we could restore the legends and put them to work. It’s not realistic. Five or six years, the Dalton chews up a rig and spits it out. We need a steady supply of new ones.

WS PDI Services is really cool, though. It’s incredibly convenient for upfitting.

Rough roads in harsh weather probably really puts a beating on them. Its probably like dog to human years. 4 years up there is 28 "interstate" years. All those little plastic bits end up floating around like dust motes in the cab.

Other than emissions problems are the Cummins giving you guys other issues?

Cylinders blocks and liner failures. Then, it takes so long to get Cummins to react and work through the warranty process. Then, you have to deal with the down time.

But, downtime isn’t as critical as it once was. Since, there are no drivers. Lol
Lots of rigs sitting still.
