Hi,

I own a 2008 Cat 305C CR (HWJ03046). I want to replace the hydraulic filter. So I was considering buying:
  • 304-7195 - filter
  • 095-1723 - seal o-ring
Anything else should I change while I am at it? Also, is it as simple as unbolting the 6 bolts, sliding the old/new filter and bolting things back?

Thanks,

Yes, that's pretty much all there is to it. Remove the tank cap first to relieve any pressure.

If it were my machine, I would also be taking an oil sample for analysis. Money well spent in my opinion.
