New saw time - I do not need the Stihl 661 so for Stihl my choice is between the 441 CM? or 461. Electronics vs a more conservative configuration.

I am not totally brand loyal so if Husky or Makita (dolmar with a different colour) or any other make a saw that is reliable, rugged easy to service I will consider suggestions.

Is your intended purchase for Typhoon clean up work or more regular work?
Ask a tool hire place to see if there are any electric chainsaws to hire to try out if they right for you before you purchase one.

I have a book that pretty well covers all brands, what info are you needing? I can see what's in there for that model.

Wow, I haven't seen a bow saw since I worked for Weyerhaeuser in 1972.
