Looking to test Main Pump output pressure. Does anyone have testing and adjusting procedure for this unit. What is the accumulator above the Fuel tank pressure suppose to be. Thanks Simon

Attached is the complete Test & Adjust for the hydraulics.
The brake accumulator precharge pressure is 325psi @ 20DegC (68F). You'll need special tooling to hook up to the Schraeder valve on top of it.
Kudos for posting Serial Number, it makes finding the correct info a lot easier.

Thank you Nige for that testing procedure. I already have the schrader Valve tool and am presuming that the Skinny Long accumulator above the fuel tank Is the brake Accumulator. Thanks Again.

You are correct, it is the brake accumulator. Before testing it make sure any pressure is released. The procedure calls for "at least" 30 brake pedal applications to ensure that the accumulator piston is fully down before testing the precharage pressure.

Thanks for that procedure. If the bladder or seals are gone and there is oil out the schrader valve will running it with out a good charged Accumulator Hurt anything in the system? Simon

That accumulator is a piston-type and is a piece of pi$$ to reseal. Like most wheel loaders the brake circuit doesn't have the flow capacity for multiple brake applications therefore there is an accumulator in the circuit to assist with flow when needed. When the brakes are not being applied the accumulator gets charged up again. I wouldn't say you're at risk of damaging anything in the system by running with a failed accumulator, but I WOULD say that you are in danger of running out of brakes......

With the engine stopped if you depress the Schrader valve core (remember to release the locknut first) and you get oil out of it rather than gas then the accumulator seals are most definitely Dondald Ducked. Attached the parts breakdown of the accumulator. Seal Kit Part Number is 160-0496. In typical fashion there is no disassembly procedure for your particular accumulator. Attached a procedure for a larger accumulator of the same design to give you an idea of how simple it is. You may have to manufacture some tooling to get the end caps off.
