Cat c9 acert , did a rebuilt,first start it started right away, tried again no start,let it sit overnight started again ran a few minutes and slowly died,wont start again unless sitting a long time.i can hand pump the fuel to 60 lbs ,as soon as i stop perssure drop to 0 lbs my question is, is the fuel pressure suppose to hold when i stop pumping?

Either an injector is passing fuel through it internally and is draining back to the return, or its leaking around the orings up around the injector into the valve cover.
