On the cat 655 paver we had the left propel hydraulic line blow. We have it disconnected at the top end, but the end that connects to the drive motor is impossible to get to. Anyone have any ideas of how to get back there? We can reach over the track but only so far. The line goes down quite a bit and goes into a elbow on the drive motor. The hydraulic tank was depleted from the leak, so we cant move the machine. The frame is about 4 inches from the ground so not really anywhere to jack to get underneath. We are at a loss. Any help is appreciated. Thanks.

If you can pick up the front of the machine high enough to get the track off the ground ,put a wood block as big as can will fit ,just past the balance point to the back then let it down. This should jack the back of the machine up higher then the block. Then pick up screed tie or block up.
