Hi, me again but this time its only for curiosity more than anything. Just wondering why the Cat 966B wheel loader seems to go faster in reverse. By this I mean the ones I have operated in the past and the one I own seems to go faster in reverse with less throttle than forwards.. It is like the loader goes backwards with less effort than forwards in either 1st or 2nd...

It seems to me that the reverse gear is set up to be a little faster because going in reverse isn't as productive. A lot of different machines are set up like this.
