Attached is the test procedure. Do that test and post your results. You are looking for a pressure around 2100psi.

I’m more familiar with pressure in psi but using the conversion your 130 bar measurement (provided your gauge is accurate) is low. The specified pressure is 144.5 +/- 3.45 bar.

The pump supplies oil to the brakes as well as the fan but the test procedure does not instruct you to apply the brakes during the pump test.

If you consult the procedure it states that if the pressure is below specification the next thing to check is the maximum engine RPM. That is what you need to check next. Please report back with your results.

OK, so the engine speed is fine but the pump pressure is 15-20 bars low. It appears to me as though the pump is bad and should be replaced. Once that the pump has been replaced it will be time to check the accumulator.

From the attachment it appears as though the pump is a 146-9823. There is no Reman pump available but there are individual repair parts.

I will find the procedure and post it up as an attachment. Be aware that you will need special tools to connect to the charging valve on the accumulator in order to check the precharge pressure. If the pressure is not correct it will require specialised nitrogen charging equipment to add gas to the accumulator. If the accumulator pressure is very low or even zero (worst case scenario) the accumulator may require re-sealing or even replacement before it can be correctly charged.

can you give me a price for a new pump or can you sell it to me ?
I have no access to prices and do not sell parts. You will need to contact your local Caterpillar dealer which in Holland will be PON Cat.

Here is the accumulator pressure checking procedure. Note that the brake system first needs to be charged to the specified pressure of 144.5 bars before the accumulator pressure can be tested. Because at this point the pressure is not going over 130 bars this means that you will have to replace the pump before you can correctly test the accumulator.

There are replacement seals for the accumulator if you need them. See attached.
