Please help.....l have a cat 740B the bin is just lifting for a clearance of about 30cm then it jamms there........It was all fine no any history....wat myt b the cause

Cat 740B bin not lifting.

check the breaker panel and see if there is a fault with the hydraulic pumps there might be too much load on the motor

I had a 740 do that on me would only lift a couple inches then stop. I believe it was a solenoid somewhere that went bad. Cat guy ended up fixing it. Said it seemed to be a common problem. That was a regular 740 though
