Cat 3208 , gmc 7000 alarm sounding, engine won't stay running

1985 gmc 7000, cat 3208, starts fine, good oil pressure, alarm sounding, runs about 30 seconds shuts down don't have any manuals or info for this, looking for any information to help figure out how I can fix it

Shut downs should be oil pressure, water temp, maybe water level. Can be bad sensor, bad wire.

Glad you found it, hope you didn't tear too much hair out in the process. I have an '85 GMC 7000 with a 3208, I don't even know if mine has a shutdown system on it. Mine's a rollback with a 20k bed.
