Does anyone know what type of oil goes in a bottom roller on the Cat 259B3 track machine? Serial number YYZ02914.

G..G..G..Granville.........!! Fetch your cloth.
The operators manual in the back of the seat tells the tale.
And if you haven't got one you really need one ASAP, expecially if you are doing your own maintenance.

Cat Publication reference SEBU8495 is the one you should be looking for.
You can get a pdf copy on a CD for $49 + S&H from HERE if you can't find a second-hand one anywhere.

Thanks for the info. I do have an operators, service and parts manual for this machine. Been looking in the service manual for roller related procedures only to find none. They have front and rear idler disassemble but nothing on the rollers. Figured it out though just didn't think of looking in the operators manual for oil requirement.
