Case Hytrans compatible with 580B

Just like the title says is it compatible. I'm going to be doing a service on the hoe at work and thinking of reusing the oil in a 580B, just dont want all the seals to start leaking at once.

I agree. Check out the Case equivalents for the 580B to see if it's listed. Do you have a 580B service manual?

I did find this reference that says it's a replacement:

Low Temp Hy-Tran Ultra may be used in all applications where Case PTF, TCH and International Harvester Low Temp Hy-Tran fluids were formerly recommended.
