New here. So my case 688 the right track is super slow to engage. Forward or back. It acts like it takes forever to get fluid to the drive. Once it is moving it tracks good and same speed as the other side either direction. Should I start at the pedal or is there a separate relief valve or something for each pedal

It could be a problem either in the pilot circuit for that pedal or the spool in the control valve may be sticking. Also check the flow control valve for that section. There is a pilot manifold under the cab so check for any restrictions in the lines and in the manifold as well.
