Is the electric switch (pic) supposed to return the bucket to loading position or "flat "? Is the other cable linkage to keep the bucket from slamming back when rolled back? Been tinkering with adjustment, thought I'd better ask before going further. 05' 570 MXT

The switch is the return to dig switch. With the bucket dumped you can pull the lever towards you and it should lock, the bucket will roll back until the cam plate hits the switch and releases the spool and it returns to neutral. You can adjust the switch and change how far the bucket rolls back before it releases the lever.

The cable is the anti roll back cable. With the bucket rolled all the way back at ground level and you start to raise the loader about 4-5 eet above the ground the bucket will start to gradually dump as the loader is raised higher to keep material from falling over the back o the bucket and down onto the hood o the tractor. It is also adjustable to change the height the the bucket starts to dump while raising.

OK, We were having a little trouble curling the bucket back far enough to hold the load, it would not go back all the way at ground level, I'll tinker with it tomorrow, wasn't sure what it should do. Thanks

If you have to pull the lever hard at ground level to get rollback the lever could be seized in the bearings right under the cab, you may have to soak it and work it back and forth to free it.

As far as the rtd, a couple degrees downtip on the edge will be ideal as an uptilt will cause the bucket edge to ride up instead of digging. ofttimes just a little bend of the lever on the microswitch will get the desired result.

Got it dialed, had to make the slots longer in the switch bracket( switch kinda wimpy for equipment) little roller full of grease & arm was bent. Lengthend out the cable, works @ 5ft' off the ground. Thanks for info
