Case 550g track question

For the Case experts out there -- I have to replace the idlers on both sides of a 550g dozer. How do I release the grease to allow the tensioner to back off? Is it as simple as taking out the grease fittings, or is there a better method?

take out grease fitting will work, but they should be a bolt that you loosen and lets the grease out

Iirc the zerk is threaded into the plug. Get a socket on there to back it out
