oil leak at rear of transmission. the leak is just forward of the counterweight and beneath the seat. the leak appears to come from a stub bolted to the trans housing. thanks in advance for any help

Coy, thanks for the reply. The first pic shows the structure from the ground camera facing up. It is bolted to the rear of the transmission and is about 5-6 inches long. Leak appears to be coming from around this piece, not above it. The second is of the rear of the tractor showing the counterweight. The structure is just in front of the counterweight. Access to the bolts will either require removing the counterweight or maybe going down from above by removing the seat. Incidentally, searching the web I came across an article which said that some Case track loaders were equipped with pto's for the logging industry.

Item 19 is the culprit but you’ll need item 14 also. You may have to remove counter weight to replace seal and o-ring. The cap just pulls off to gain access to seal. There is a shaft sticking out the end of trans cover.
