Assuming grounds are tight, you might check voltage at the bulbs with engine revved up. Voltage regulators might be a bit high. A small percentage of too high voltage will affect bulb life quite a bit even though everything works fine.

Just noticed your location. You may run into trouble with LED's as they don't get hot. Therefore when it snows the heat from the lamp will not melt the snow off the lens. In your case an HID lamp might be a better if even more expensive solution than LED. Just to give you an idea of prices in my area - Typically a complete halogen light would be around US$120, an LED about $350-400, and an HID about $600. However both LED & HID will go 5-10,000 hours so you get more bang for your buck.

If you are using halogen bulbs, do not touch with bare fingers, use paper or latex gloves. the oil from your skin on the glass can create hot spots and cuse a failure.
