I have a 2017 bobcat t770 with bobcat mulching head. About 20 machine hours ago it started losing power in the mulching head. The engine runs fine but the power to the mulching head makes it almost unusable. The problem seems worse when it’s warm. We replaced the hydraulic pump and it ran great for about 6-8 machine hours but now is back to its old ways. Any thoughts?

Did you check the mulcher head motor and case drain on it for oil leakage ? What is the model and serial of the head ?

An easy test. Remove the casedrain hose off the Bobcat and remove the quick connector. Get a 5 gallon pail and put the hose in it then start the machine and run it to Wide Open Throttle for 1 minute then shut it down. Any more than 1/2 a gallon of oil indicates a worn hydraulic motor
