AW is simply an Anti Wear oil. Simple oil that has anti-wear additives, anti oxidants, defoamer, and mild detergent.


Hytran, Hygard or any other universal tractor fluid has everything a AW does WITH a friction modifier that you need in limited slip applications like wet brakes or we clutches.

Hi!

Do I understand you correct - you was using 15W40 for hydraulics? We have 2 Bobcats here (T590 & T770) in West Africa. It is very hot here, and we want to use engine oil 15W40, because there is no Bobcat dealer here and local Oil dealers cannot cross what Bobcat manuals recommend for hydraulic system. Not many options in this part of the world... :mad:
