I likde the run option

I suppose you could use flowable fill,,,, a per truck bid.

we grouted a 48" pipe lined with 42" pipe with a light weight something... It finds every nook and granny.. the labors left a small hole in the top of a block out. They filled about a block of 48" pipe full of the grout... what ever it is ... is near weightless.

we put a parking lot on top of a pond, dug it out .. refill with good dirt... but they had estimated about 6-8 foot of fill ...they new the pond depth ..it ended up being almost 12' deep . don't know who footed the bill for the extra.
