best grouser/ track shoe for ice

Hi guys,

I'm looking for opinions and ideas for best grouser setup for working ice. Other options may include welding on taller grousers or clip on bolt on cleats.

What are your thoughts. Thanks!

I think the most common thing to do is weld on "ice-lugs" on the cleats of your grouser pads. I've seen this on bigger excavators and I know I saw a picture on this forum somewhere....
