Cab looks okay, just going to be not a lot of fun to get it out. What a bunch of hand work.

Need shovels with the bean counters name on them. That would stop that nonsense.

It could be dug out with a mini-ex, still take a minute or two.

Just heard from my contact that clean up was done by hand shovel and air guns. They did use the mini Ex as far as it could reach in from the front. That truck is hauling again right now. Broke a axle and blew some tires.

The moto at the mines in Northern Ontario is "All this and money too." Most of these mines are working at feverish paces because gold is about $3600 Canadian per once and the cost per once is around $1500 or less. Making a killing, this wont impact year end by much.

I have been in all 3 of the mines operating in the Wawa area. Wonder if it was Alamos, River Gold Mine ( Wesdome) or the old Magino Mine that my brother in law was just working at.
Workers making big bucks there.

For your information Dave, I worked at that place and not all the people there are playing with a full deck of cards. That is my full expanation of truck totally buried. Maybe brakes would not come off.
Will never have full, true story.

Driver probably didn't own the truck either. I always treated equipment I operated better than if I owned it but I'm in the minority on that.

Pioneer was the original contractor there. Then low bidder gets it next, then they have seat covers for Drivers.

A large contractor from Dubreuilville actually built the road to Magnicon Mine where the current mill is now, back around 1985 with all blasted rock. Road was solid still after I restarted the generators in 1994 or so. Once the Eagle River mine got going full tilt, they sunk a shaft and lots of new people use to come on site. Pioneer came in after that along with lots of different contractors over the years.
Been running about 30 years straight now.
With gold super high in price, lots of low grade areas are being mined to mix with high grade. If they send too high of grade into the mill they will lose it out to tailings. Never want big gushes of high grade or it will be lost. That is why they even mix super low grade from a pit to offset the high grade and still make lots of money. that is my experience.

I'm curious why the truck driver didn't start driving out once it was over filling?
He would have been up on the platform to the right working the bin controls most likely. Once the malfunction was realized and the driver made it down to the truck, it wouldn't have been able to pull out.
