I'm lucky I don't live in western Canada. I would be dragging home equipment all the time. There are some nice machines out there.

Thanks. I've been bad about posting this last year. Now I'm trying to catch up with whats going on. Five inches of rain and some snow on top makes it easy to be on the computer. Looking through this post, I'm surprised to see that Cat high track skidder parked a few pages back. Those are gold down in this area. And not just because of the paint color.

Love seeing all this great stuff. Sad in a way but better than being cut up for scrap!!
Glad to see the old Skidder is still there. Would be neat to see it salvaged and set up at a museum .
Thanks for sharing!!!

Thank you for the serial number plate. 009-S 3-400 with GM12VA on M6 carrier. Delivered to a customer in Hope in January 1966. It was also delivered an identical machine to the same customer in June 1966. Was it one more there, Skadill?

Thanks for posting those pics Torkel. Good to see shots of old Yarders instead of the modern machines. These are some recent shots of a machine I stumbled upon last fall. They have moved to another location from where they were.[/ATTACH]
