POST 1001, Any idea what those guys are doing in the first picture. Looks like they are building a foundation for something. There is a lot of cribbing for support under all of it.

Just a guess dunwurken but they might be doing sorts and grading for utility poles. They look long and this like a pole.

Never thought of sorting poles but it does look like what they are doing.

Well I am not sure where I shot post these pictures of an old GMC 620 model made in the 50's. Pictures were taken in Oregon Summer 1984

Here is my dad in '66.
He said it was faster for him to run the saw by himself without some flunky hanging off the end of the Stinger. He was a go-getter that's for sure.
