    Sketchup Pro combined with a 3D Connexion Spacemouse is what I use and have used to design my Pole Barn along with other projects.

    I called an architect that I’ve worked with over the years and he uses sketchup too.

    I thought everyone used AutoCAD, I'm not an architect, so I can't tell you anything specific.
