906 loader sift problem

got a 906 loader, has intermittent problem where when you switch from forward to revers it neutralizes.
even if you put your foot on the brake and make the switch it some times will just start flashing on the neutral light and has no gear.
sometimes it needs to be turned off to fix the problem.
anyone had experience with something like this??
