The E used three different brake setups, first and second were dry and the third was wet system, you may need to look at the parking brake also. First check the oil level in the rear axle, then grease the outer wheel bearings behind the back tires on the housings, Lift the machine up with the rear wheels off the ground and shake the tire and use a bar to lift up a little under the tire, you are checking the outer axle bearing for looseness. grab your tire and spin it by hand with the trans in neutral and note signs of it binding, do the other side also, place the trans in gear and spin some more and note what is going on. Note also the parking brake handle, is it released ? . Depending on the build the parking brake either works on the brakes themselves or a disc mounted in the area of the drive shaft from the shuttle. The first brake system would adjust themselves and leaking housing seals would cause a grabbing effect, and the later wet brakes could have lost some lining and causing some binding. We can tell you more, but if you have a s/n and hours and if it's a 4wd that to would help while members are trying to give you some pointers to check. Not saying it is a brake issue at this time. just trying to get more info.
