Hello,

Thank you to anyone who can help out this first time backhoe owner out. Two items I can't seem to find for sale to get my 580D back to more serviceable.

1) The pin that you put in place to keep the backhoe from swinging side to side if pressure is removed from the swing cylinders. I imagine I could just fashion one out of some steel bar, but if anyone knows who is selling one I would just buy it to save the hassle.

2) Anyone have a serviceable replacement for the channel stripping that went in the channels where the rear windows slide up and down?

The window channel cushioning for the back windows that slide up and down. When I bought it one of the windows was broken. I have the new window, but I don't want to put it back in there without something to cushion the channel. The channel appears to be 3/8". You can see the remnants of the channel stripping in the first photo.

The old channel stripping appeared to be felt on both sides, a rubber middle, and then a plastic strip that went in for the glass to slide on.

Here is a picture of it (in disintegrated state) after I removed some of it.

This is the plastic that seemed to run down the center.

Perfect, thank you - how I didn't turn that up in all my searching is a wonder. Also, I love your thumbnail.

The seal isn't shown, that's why.Screenshot_20230124-093149_Chrome.jpg Screenshot_20230124-093221_Chrome.jpg

I'd double check that seal to make sure it's for in channel, as I just saw on the door listing, too, and the door has no sliders.

Thank you for following up.

It's interesting, it says 2, but there are 2 different channels, and then there are 2 sides, which would suggest you may need 4. I can figure that out.

In case anyone is curious, F44692 is $234 for window channel felt - each. So I guess to do all four channels Case thinks you'll drop a grand? Not this guy.

The D90576 is the swing transport pin, and that is not available, with no replacement part. I guess I'll do what everyone else does and just go buy a piece of steel bar that is close.

Not sure what exactly you need, but many years ago my employer had a trim shop and ordered the kind of stuff you are referring to from this supplier. As I remember it wasn't that dear.

Thank you, I will definitely check this out. I started hunting around on some of these sites, but didn't find exactly what I was looking for. This site, however, looks to have many more choices. Certainly I can find something that works.
