580ck hoses

Hi guys, I have a 67 580ck.all the hoses need to be redone.some of them are 1” some 5/8. I blew out the steel pipe that runs along the boom, and it was replaced with 1” hydraulic hose.Can someone confirm proper hose size.also the boom wants to swing to 1 side or another while driving, what causes that.thanks so much

Mike; The parts book will give you the length of the hoes but not the size.

Your best bet is to take the one you are replacing to wherever you are having them made and they can duplicate it.
Does your backhoe swing ok while you are using it ?
Like plenty of power and stops swinging when you want it to ?

Seems to swing and power ok just started doing this, I’m thinking bushings are gone

Like 180° ?
Any looseness in the swing cylinder pins would be easy to see by pushing on the boom when it is off the ground.
The trunnion pin looseness would cause the entire cylinder to move while pushing on the boom when it is off the ground.

Your backhoe boom is swinging because you don't have the transport chains hooked to it?
